Weather perfect for MLK Parade

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade was held on Saturday, Dec. 15, with near perfect weather for the annual parade.
According to Monroe Woods, President on the Hardeman County chapter of the NAACP, one of the sponsors of the parade, the theme for this year was education, with all participants encouraged, whether walking or in a car or float, to have a message showing the importance of a quality education.
The Grand Marshall for this year’s parade was Bolivar Central Senior Class President, Chasmine Jones.
