Social Media sites active after two BCHS students sent to jail for sagging pants

Two students from Bolivar Central High School were reportedly ordered to spend a weekend in jail, after refusing several requests to pull their pants up in school.
Reports of the incident, which occurred in early November, have people talking on social media sites, like Facebook and Twitter. After the story appeared on WREG TV in Memphis, several people shared the link, which has garnered well over 700 comments, with many expressing support for the punishment, and others disagreeing, saying that it was either too harsh, or violated the students First Amendment rights.
Nan Isbell Robertson, a former resident of Bolivar, who now lives in Mississippi, commented on Facebook,  “Proud of my hometown.”
