Saulsbury burglars arrested

A Jan. 13 home burglary in Saulsbury was solved almost before it was over. Three residents of Ripley, Miss. were apprehended by the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department. They have been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of property, and criminal trespass.
“My son-in-law and I were working in a field some distance from his home,” said one witness. “We were close enough to see a car sitting in his driveway.”  Curious as to why the vehicle was just sitting, they drove over to investigate. He approached and asked the occupants why they were there.  “There were two women in the car. They said they were looking for someone. I don’t remember the name they gave but when I told them we didn’t know whoever it was, they drove away,” he said.
