Park Gets Gift from Optimist Club

The City of Bolivar Parks and Recreation Department recently benefitted from a donation in the amount of $1,000 from the Bolivar Optimist Club and presented by Mr. Danny Cheshier. Recreation Director Curtis Stack announced the donation thanking the Bolivar Optimist Club for their support of the parks and recreation department.
“We are so thankful for the generosity of the Bolivar Optimist Club. The Optimist Club works closely with the city to enhance programming alternatives for our children and youth. Their support and encouragement are deeply appreciated by not only the city, but by those who benefit from our programs,” said Mayor Julian McTizic.
