Tina Pipkins has been clean and sober for almost four years and, as a result, is advocating for others to change their life. Tina’s children were taken by DCS three times before she walked away from drugs and became the mother her children needed.

For 35 years of her life, addiction consumed every thought and controlled her life. But now, one Bolivar resident credits General Sessions and Juvenile Court Judge Charles ‘Chip’ Cary (retired), the Department of Children’s Services (DCS), and her rehabilitation center for helping bring her into the light of recovery.
