One flown to the MED after accident

A Middleton man was airlifted to the regional MED in Memphis on Wednesday, July 22, after being involved in a crash with two semi-trucks.
Jake Greene, 82, was flown to the hospital after the Chevy Impala he was driving struck a tractor trailer when Greene ran a stop sign, according to the preliminary accident report. Greene was traveling northbound on Highway 138 at approximately 2:15 p.m. when he struck the trailer of a tractor trailer. The rear trailer axles of the tractor trailer drove over the Impala Greene was driving, causing the car to rotate into the eastbound lane of Highway 100 where it was struck by another on-coming tractor-trailer that was unable to avoid the collision, according to the report.
The report stated Greene was not wearing his seat belt. He was taken by helicopter to the regional MED in Memphis and was in ICU at last report.
