Magnolia Manor ends ghost tours

After 10 years, and more than 7,000 visitors, the owners of Magnolia Manor have decided to end their popular ghost tours that have been hosted by the Manor each year during the month of October.
“It has been a great run,” Gregg Rivers said. “Mom is now 82, and Tom is 92, and doing these tours are getting hard on them.”
Elaine Cox and her husband, Tom Gatti first got the idea to do the tours in 2004, and the first ones were held in 2005. Their son Gregg conducted the tours, which featured the downstairs of the house, the grounds, and a tour of Bolivar’s historic Bills District. In addition each night a paranormal group that has investigated the house gives a brief presentation, showing evidence of paranormal activity in the house.
