Cole appears before county for hoarding

After more than two years of complaining about their neighbor’s hoarding, Dixie Hills residents began to see progress in June when the county attempted to clean up the property for free.
Mary Cole, resident at 95 Dixie Hills Road, appeared before Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain on Wednesday, August 12, after Cole ran county employees off her property on June 22 when they arrived with heavy machinery to clean her property.
“We were going to clean it up at no cost to her because we were just trying to help the community,” Sain said.
