City of Bolivar: State of the City Address
It is my honor and privilege to come before you today to report on the State of the City. For the last six years we have come together and worked diligently to make Bolivar the best city it could be and together we are continuing to work toward this goal.
As we talk about some of our successes, and some of the goals we have yet to reach, I want to thank you for coming together with us and helping revitalize our city and bringing some well deserved state attention and support to our city and our projects. Our success is your success.
Again, I want to recognize my colleagues on the council who given their time to make the decisions that move us toward our shared goals. Although, we may not accomplish all of them, we try to do what is in the best interest for the City of Bolivar.

We would like to welcome Councilwoman Hamer, who was elected to her position effective July 2015.
I also want to recognize and thank all the citizens who serve as volunteers on boards, employees, civic organizations, and sports leagues that contribute so much to the quality of life in Bolivar. It is all of you that help influence and set the context for the present and the path for our future.
Our Successes:
