Bolivar continues work toward ‘Just Say Hatchie’

Bolivar city officials hosted various state leaders and UT Martin officials on Thursday, September 10, for a tour down the Hatchie River in an attempt to promote their “Just Say Hatchie” campaign. The “Just Say Hatchie” is the continuation of Bolivar’s efforts to make the Hatchie River Park a reality, where residents and tourists alike can rent canoes and share the Hatchie experience.
The project is still in infancy but city leaders are making progress in bringing the project to reality and state officials such as Department of Tourism Commissioner Kevin Triplett are excited about the possibilities.
