
Animal Rescue Corps help rescue 19 dogs
Animal Rescue Corps (ARC), a non profit organization out of Washington, DC that rescues endangered pets all across the country was in Hardeman County on Thursday, Jan. 7, to help Hardeman County Animal Control rescue 19 dogs that had been abandoned at a house on the corner of Third St. and Jefferson in Bolivar.
According to ARC’s Facebook page, the rescue in Hardeman County was one of five rescues across Tennessee in three days that saved 140 animals in four counties.
The rescue in Hardeman County involved 19 medium sized mixed breed dogs that were left behind after their owner moved out of state in December 2015.
