The dining room of the Wright House was the only new house on the 1015 APTA Home Tour.

2015 APTA home tour a little different

The 2015 Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities (APTA) Home tour was a bit different than tours of the past.
This year, the tour was held on Friday night, October 23, and Saturday, October, 24. Only three houses were on this year’s tour, the Columns, the Wright house, which was new to the tour, and the Pillars. As an added bonus, there were guided tours of Polk Cemetery, and for the first time ever, the second floor of the Pillars was opened to the public.
There was also a ghost hunt on both Friday night and Saturday night at the Pillars, conducted by EPIC (Exploration Paranormal Incident Crew) haunted tours, which allowed tour ticket holders to actually participate in a real paranormal investigation, with paranormal findings on both nights.
