Spencer places in Beautillion Scholarship Pageant

Nicholas Spencer, BCHS student, competed in The Links, Incorporated Jackson Chapter’s 39th Beautillion Scholarship Pageant and placed first runner-up.
As a result of his placement, Spencer won a $1,000 scholarship to the college or university of his choice. He was also named Mr. Entrepreneur in the contest.
With over $250,000 awarded in academic scholarships to more than 230 high school and college students, the Beautillion places emphasis on high school aged men and teaches workshops on ACT preparation, grooming and etiquette, study skills, career planning and financial planning.
