Chickasaw Stables holds annual St. Jude Trail Ride

The Chickasaw Riding Stables at Chickasaw State Park held their ninth annual St Jude Trail Ride on Saturday, April 25.
More than 200 people came out to this year\'s event. Stable operators Mike and Melissa Howell, of Middleton, started the ride as shortly after they took over the operation of the stables.
“We chose St. Jude because it is one of the most needed organizations that we know of,” Mike Howell said.
The event features two separate trail rides, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, plenty of food, games, an auction, a live band, and a hay ride. This year for the first time, a fish fry was added on Friday night.
More than $30,000 has been raised for St. Jude since the ride's inception.
