50th wedding anniversary

Dr. Jim and Charlene Koonce of Bolivar will be honored Saturday, August 15 from 2-4 p.m. at the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church located at 826 Market St., Bolivar in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone is invited to the come and go reception.
Jim and Charlene were married in Houston, TX on August 27, 1965.
Dr. Koonce is the former Director of Missions of Hardeman County Baptist Association and is currently serving as the interim pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Beech Bluff. Mrs. Koonce is the retired secretary of First Baptist Church Whiteville. They are the parents of three daughters, Cheryl, Cindy, and Christie.
Hosts for the celebration are the couple's children. No gifts please.
