Hickory Valley Independence Day parade July 3rd - Line up at 10 a.m., Parade at 11 a.m. Meal at the Community House following the parade -- Fire Dept. providing hot dogs, others are asked to bring side dishes to share.

First Baptist Church will host Allison Speer, Gaither Homecoming Artist will be in Concert. Everyone is welcome for the concert at 6:30 p.m. on July 8th. A Love offering will be taken.

Hebron Baptist Church Senior Luncheon will be Thursday, July 15 at noon.

Hardeman County Health Department offering walk-in option for COVID-19 Vaccinations. Appointments are still available but not required. The Hardeman County Health Department is open for COVID-19 vaccine, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Tuesday 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. For questions, individuals can call the Hardeman County Health Department at 731-658-5291.

POP (Power of Produce) Club. Saturday, July 17 children 2-10 and their parents are invited to visit the POP Club at the Bolivar Farmer’s Market 9-11 a.m. There will be activities, taste-testing and an opportunity to receive $5 POP bucks per child to use at the market. The United Sons and Daughters of Charity #2 will sponsor its Annual July Rally on Monday night, July 12, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at Little Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Hornsby. The Rally Speaker will be one of the members, Reverend Ocie Wallace, Jr. The President, Pastor Edward Bowers, will bring the yearly general address with reflections on the history and purpose of the organization.
