Music on the Square Friday night, Silver Canyon will be the headlining group with “Sparky” Sparks, Johnny Weems, and Tom and James Berry entertaining beginning at 8:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. Lakelin Lemmings will take the stage as the opening act.
Gospel Music on the Square Saturday, October 10 at Bolivar Downtown Amphitheatre will feature Servant’s Heart with Master’s Call serving as the opening act.

Hardeman County Citizens Cleanup meeting at Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Department Station Saturday morning, October 10, breakfast at Wilson’s Diner. The APTA of Hardeman County Historic Home Tour October 16 and October 17. Join us for docent led tours of The Pillars, circa 1828, home of Hardeman County founder John Houston Bills and the Polk Cemetery. The cemetery has a great deal of prominent and intriguing people laid to rest on the grounds. Artisans, historical reenactors and live music will be on the lawn of The Pillars for the day! The Bolivar Farmers Market on the corner of Washington and Lafayette Streets in Bolivar is open each Saturday and Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. for the best selection of produce, plants, beef, catfish, handcrafted items and more. The City of Bolivar Community Garden volunteer hours are Thursdays 4-6 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 9-11 a.m. at Pleasant Run Creek Park. The last garden day is scheduled for December 5. If you would like more information, check out their Facebook page.
