Music on the Square this Friday will feature the Bryan Hayes and Retrievers beginning at 8 p.m. at the Bolivar Downtown Amphitheatre. Lakelin Lemmings will open at 7:00 p.m.

The Demolition Derby is this Saturday night, September 19 at 7 p.m. out at the Hardeman County Fairgrounds. Admission is $10. If you can’t make it out we will be providing crash by crash coverage right here on WMOD with driver interviews and more.

Hickory Valley Yard Sale Saturday, October 3, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rain or Shine. Located at 7115 Hwy 18 South, Hickory Valley. We are raising money to display our Fire Truck Shelter in front of city hall.

The Bolivar Farmers Market on the corner of Washington and Lafayette Streets in Bolivar is open each Saturday and Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. for the best selection of produce, plants, beef, catfish, handcrafted items and more. The City of Bolivar Community Garden volunteer hours are Mondays 8-10 a.m., Thursdays 6-8 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 8-10 a.m. at Pleasant Run Creek Park. If you would like more information, check out their Facebook page.
