The Bolivar Police Department will host a Citizens Police Academy each Tuesday beginning September 10 and ending October 22 from 5:30 to 9:30 each class. Applications forms at the BPD or online at cityofbolivar.com

The Lee Ola Roberts Library will host a Child Safety Seat and Vehicle Belt System demonstration by the Whiteville Police Department on July 20 from 9 a.m. to noon.

There will be a Homeschool Information Session on July 20 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and July 23 from 5:30-7 pm at the Bolivar Hardeman County Library. This event is free and open to the public.

Bethlehem Baptist Church in Whiteville will have Homecoming on July 21 at 10:30 am. There will be a fellowship meal following the service. The Dills will sing. And on July 27, the church will host a Back to School Bash with fun and games, crafts, giant waterslide and hot dogs, chips, drinks and cookies.

The Bolivar Fire Department needs your help to Stuff the Fire Truck with school supplies for Bolivar students and teachers on July 27 at Walmart from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Lee Ola Library in Whiteville will host a Job Fair/Blood Drive/Health Fair on July 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
