Middleton ladies easily handle Bolivar

The Middleton Lady Tigers volleyball team played host to their cross county rivals, the Bolivar Central Lady Tigers, on Thursday, August 27, and walked away with an easy win, taking all three games, 25-15, 25-10, and 25-11.
“We had some really good ball contact today, and we are really working on improving on the little things right now,” Middleton Head Coach Zeke Craft said.
Top players for Middleton were Christian Woods with 11 kills, three aces; Polly Dowty with five kills, one ace; Jazmine Cossby four kills; Kira Collier two kills; Talandra Sain one kill, three aces.
In spite of the loss, Bolivar first year head coach Aaron Gibson was pleased with his team’s play.
“We fought hard, but could have done a little better,” Gibson said.
Individual stats were not available for Bolivar.
Middleton’s record is now 6-3 (1-0 in District 15A). Bolivar’s record is now 1-6 (1-2 in District 14AA).
