Middleton falls to JCS in double header

The Middleton Tigers baseball team had a light week with only two games played, a double header against Jackson Christian School, on Tuesday, April 7, at home, losing 17-0 in the first game, and 11-1 in the night cap.
JCS needed just three innings to finish off Middleton in the first game, scoring three runs in the first inning, six runs in the second, and eight runs in the third for 17 runs on 16 hits, while Middleton failed to get a run on three hits with two errors.
Caleb Crum was 1-1 at the plate, as was James Pagliaro, while Andru Howell was 1-2.
Middleton’s woes continued in their second game. JCS scored one run in the first inning, five runs in the second, one run in the third, and four runs in the fourth, for 11 runs on just five hits. Middleton’s lone run came in the third inning. The Tigers managed three hits and had one error.
