Bolivar tennis defeats Middleton

The Bolivar Central Tigers Tennis team played host to the Middleton Tigers on Tuesday, April 7, with the boys easily winning 7-0, and the girls winning their first match of the season 5-2.
In singles action for the boys, Bolivar was a perfect 5-0.  Landon Harris defeated Caelen McPhereson 8-0, Jake Wilson defeated Logan Franks 8-0, David TerBurgh defeated Nate Foster 8-0, Braxdon Frost defeated Nick Thompson 8-0 and Luke Ormerod defeated Matthew Whitaker 8-0.
David TerBurgh, who easily won his Match 8-0 was very pleased with his play.
“I have been playing consistently well this season,” said TerBurgh.
TerBurgh, who is in his third season at Bolivar, is undefeated for the season. Before coming to Bolivar, he played at a middle school in Kentucky.
The Bolivar boys won both of their doubles sets, with Landon Harris/Jake Wilson defeating Caelen McPhereson/Logan Franks 8-0, and David TerBurgh /Braxdon Frost defeated Nick Thompson/Lor 8-0.
