Bolivar Ladies still searching for first win

The Bolivar Central Lady Tigers were still searching for a win after last week, losing three games on the road in the Camden Lady Lions Tournament on Saturday, March 21, against Scotts Hill 9-5, Camden 5-2, and West Carroll 14-2,  before losing to Hardin County at home 7-6 on Monday, March 23.
Hardin County 7 Bolivar 6
Hardin County jumped out to an early lead, scoring two runs in the first, three runs in the third and one run in the fourth, Bolivar got back in the game with five runs in the sixth inning, with both teams scoring one run each in the seventh. Hardin County finished the game with seven runs on 11 hits and two errors, while Bolivar had six runs on 11 hits and two errors.
Top hitters for Bolivar were Sydney Howell, who was 3-4 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI; Hannah Thomas was 3-4 with one run scored and one RBI; Leah Parks 2-3,with one double, and  one run scored; Shelby Jimmerson, 1-4 with a double, one run scored and one RBI, Abbie Phillips 1-3 with on RBI, Lisa Russell1-4, and Anna Jones, 0-2 with a run scored.
Scotts Hill 9-Bolivar 5
Bolivar scored five runs on seven hits. Laura Blackwell was 2-3 with a double and two runs scored; Lisa Russell was 2-3 with one run and one RBI, Sydney Howell was 1-2 with a double, and Allie Turner was 1-3 with one run scored.
Camden 5 Bolivar 2
Bolivar scored two runs on four hits, including a run by Leah Parks, who was 1-3 for the day. Shelby Jimmerson got the other run. She was 1-2 for the day.
West Carroll 14 Bolivar 2
Bolivar scored two runs on two hits. Allie Turner was 1-1 with a triple and a run scored; Hannah Thomas was 1-2 with a double; and Abbie Phillips was 0-1 with a run scored.
Bolivar’s record is now 0-9.
The ladies are scheduled to host Fayette Ware on Monday, April 6 at 5:30 p.m., travel to Fayette Ware on Tuesday, April 7 at 5:30 p.m., host Middleton on Friday, April 10, at 5 p.m., and travel to Ripley on Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m.
