Bolivar boys tennis remain undefeated
The Bolivar boys easily won their second match of the season 6-1 over Chester County at home on Monday, March 16.
In singles action, Bolivar won four out of five sets. Jake Wilson defeated Sam Sides 8-3, Braxdon Frost defeated Brandon Farley 8-5. David TerBurgh defeated Garrett Cook 8-1, and Luke Ormerod defeated Grant Burns 8-2, However, Landon Harris lost to Nash Hearn 8-4.
In doubles action, Bolivar won both sets. Landon Harris/Jake Wilson defeated Hearn/Cronin 8-2, and Braxdon Frost/David TerBurgh defeated Sides/Carson 8-1.
On Tuesday, March 17, the team traveled to Lexington, where the boys won 7-0.
In singles play, Landon Harris defeated Dylan Walls 8-0, Jake Wilson defeated Chris Walker 8-2, Braxdon Frost defeated Holden Bedwell 8-6, David TerBurgh defeated Tristen Melton 8-3, and Luke Ormerod defeated Javan Venable 8-1.
In doubles play, the team of Landon Harris/Jake Wilson defeated Dylan Walls/ Tristian Melton 8-1, and Braxdon Frost, David TerBurgh defeated Bedwell/Young 8-2.
Bolivar's record is 3-0 (3-0 in district play).
