MHS working to preserve senior composite pictures

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) of Middleton High School is working to complete a project to preserve the senior composite pictures from 1937-2014 and provide space to continue with the present and futures classes on display in a wall mount flip case to be displayed in the school entry.
CAB is comprised of community leaders, business owners, school administrators, teachers, students, staff members and parent/caregivers. They wish to preserve the pictures for they feel the pictures are the heart of the school’s history. ‘The project has required a great deal of time and cost since many of the composites were damaged and some were incomplete. The group has worked with Mitch Carter of Moore’s Studio in Jackson to reproduce the pictures for display and develop a DVD that may be purchased by individuals. This money will help to cover the cost of the pictures and the flip case. The cost to develop the pictures for display is $50 each and many classes and individuals have contributed to this cost, but more is needed.
