Wendy Patrice Lake

Wendy Patrice Lake was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 13, 1974 to Willie Pete Lake, Sr. and Lee Anna Lake both of whom preceded her in death. Wendy, who was a twin, the youngest of nine children. Funeral service was held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Mt. Salem MB Church-Hickory Valley with Pastor Melvin Bufford in charge.  Burial was in the Lake Cemetery-Hickory Valley and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.  
Wendy attended and graduated from South Shore High School. She was a member of Miracle House of Prayer in Chicago, Illinois, where she confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior. Wendy never married nor did she have any children. Wendy attended Harold Washington College. She worked in housekeeping at the Hilton Hotel chain until her health diminished.
