Irene McKinnie Armour

Irene McKinnie Armour was born on September 11, 1953 to the late Aubrey and Rachel Price McKinnie in Hardeman County. She was the 10th child of 11 born to this union.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at Mt. Calvary MB Church with Pastor Algie Jarrett in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  Dixie Funeral Home in charge of the professional service.
On November 21, 2015, God dispatched an angel to Pine Meadows Healthcare facility at 2 a.m. to separate the soul of Sister Irene Armour from an ailing body and delivered her to a place of rest to await the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Three brothers: Harold, Charles Sr. "Baby", and one sister: Louis Moore preceded her in death.
Irene accepted Christ early in life at Old Bethel MB Church of Bolivar. Her basic education was obtained in the public schools of Hardeman County.
Irene exchanged martial vows with Earl Armour and became and a homemaker that made a house a home for her husband and the sons God entrusted to their care.
Later in life Irene rededicated her life to Christ and joined Mt. Calvary MB Church under the leadership of Pastor Algie Jarrett. She was faithful, serving whenever needed until physical challenges made it impossible to serve.
