Remembering pilot James Taylor

By Amelia Monroe Carlson A plane crash on Wednesday, August 27 claimed the life of crop dusting pilot James Taylor, of Somerville, as he was fl ying near  Peavine Road, on GranthamFarms, just outside Middleton. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Friends and family remember Taylor as a man with a big heart, warm smile, passionate about fl ying, a love of hunting, a prankster and one who seemed to be able to do anything. “Every memory is a great memory,” said Brooke Boggs, Taylor’s granddaughter. “When there’s somebody that great, you’ve got so many memories with them that it’s hard to single out one and say it’s your favorite over the others.” Boggs said one memory she likes to recall was a comical incident that happened with Taylor at the William Whitehurst/Hardeman County airport.  To view more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition. http://www.etypeservices.com/Bolivar%20Bulletin-TimesID502/
