Mid South Quail Forever hosted this National Rifle Association program to present what the NRA refers to as its graduate program in outdoor skills and safety training for young hunters.  Hosted by Ronnie Downs, the farm proved to be an ideal location for the event, which was not only a competition, but a learning opportunity, as well. Wildlife officers from Tennessee Wildlife Resources were on hand to guide the young people through the rifle, shotgun and archery events  Additionally, TWRA had an impressive demonstration of wildlife trapping. .  Members of Mid South Quail Forever and Avery Outdoors Superstore also served as volunteers at the various venues, along with parents and friends from past competitions.  Judging from the smiles on the faces of the kids and the volunteers, it is easy to say the event was a success!
