HCAC presents 'A Christmas Story'

The Hardeman County Arts Council will present “A Christmas Story”, on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 4 and 5 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m.
The play, adapted by Phillip Grecian is based on the movie of the same name, which was based on humorist Jean Shepherd’s memoir “In God we Trust, all others Pay Cash” tells the story of Ralphie Parker, and his quest for the Holy Grail of all Christmas presents, a Red Ryder BB Gun..
The show, directed by Leah Grantham, with assistance from Wanda Young and Leanne Young, features a cast of 17, with a total of 12 speaking parts.
Tickets are on sale this week to HCAC members, and will go on sale to the general public beginning Monday, November 30. The HCAC box office will be closed Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 27. For ticket information, call (731) 658-3030, or (731) 658-2787.
